Amid reports that “Hanu Man” director Prasanth Varma is under pressure from top Telugu production houses for allegedly failing to fulfill commitments after taking hefty advances, DVV Entertainment has issued a clarification.
The production house, owned by DVV Danayya, released an official statement denying any financial or professional association with Prasanth Varma.
“We would like to clarify that the recent speculation regarding advances taken by director Prasanth Varma from DVV Entertainment /Mr. DVV Danayya is completely false and baseless,” the statement read.
DVV Entertainment also urged media outlets and social media platforms to verify facts before spreading unconfirmed news.
Other major production houses mentioned in the reports are yet to respond, while Prasanth Varma himself has remained silent. Since the release of HanuMan, the filmmaker has not directed a new project but is said to be involved in story development and creative supervision for other ventures.
