His Jana Sena party entered into poll fray for the first time in this election. Besides this, he also contested as MLA for the first time although he has been in political arena since 2009. He is expecting to win from the two seats the he contested in Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram. Although exit polls were disappointing for his party, Pawan Kalyan believes that scenario will change after ‘exact results’ come in. Will Pawan Kalyan’s arangetram be a super hit show or a flop show? Wait for tomorrow.
Other film stars who contested as MLA in this election are Nandamuri Balakrishna (TDP) who is seeking second term from Hindupur assembly constituency and Roja (YSRCP).
