Kannada superstars are not hesitating to resume film shoots despite the corona outbreak. Sudeep is currently shooting for his Kannada film in Hyderabad. Now, Upendra is all set to join the shoot of his next Telugu film.
Thanks to films like ‘A’, ‘Kanyadaanam’, and ‘S/o Sathyamurthy’, Upendra has developed a huge fanbase in Telugu states. He is now set to essay a key role in Varun Tej’s new boxing drama.
Being directed by newcomer Kiran Korrepati, the untitled sports movie is produced by Allu Venkatesh and Sidhu Mudda. Bollywood actress Saiee Manjrekar has been cast as Varun Teja’s jodi.
The film was to release on July 30, 2020, but its shoot was stalled in March after the imposing of lockdown. The makers are now planning to wrap it by December and release it either for Christmas or in early 2021.
