The film “Family Star,” starring Vijay Devarakonda and released in theaters last Friday, has received negative publicity. Trolls typically make comments after a film receives a negative response from the media and critics. However, according to Vijay Deverakonda’s team and production house SVC, this film was subjected to a troll campaign before its first screenings.
Anurag Parvataneni, Vijay Devarakonda’s personal manager, and Nishant Kumar, president of the Vijay Devarakonda Fans Association, filed a complaint with the cybercrime police based on the social media screenshots, social media groups, and YouTube thumbnails provided by the production company Sree Venkateshwara Creations (SVC).
The complaint states that some people intentionally mislead the audience who want to see the movie. The negative campaign has impacted collections. After receiving the complaint and basic evidence, the police promised to investigate the case and arrest the perpetrators.
According to the team, some people and social media groups are working hard to ensure that this film fails and Vijay Deverakonda become unpopular.
