The first look poster of mythological epic drama ‘Narthanasala’, acted in and directed by Nandamuri Balakrishna is here. ‘Narthanasala’, the retelling of NTR’s classic of the same name, went to the floors in 2004. However, Balakrishna could not complete the film owing to financial and other setbacks. The film was his dream project. He wanted to direct this mythological movie.
A decade and a half later, the unfinished project is seeing the light of the day. Balakrishna shot the roughly 17 minutes of footage, and the edited version is now all set to stream on @ShreyasET, pay for view app.
Releasing this 24th October, ‘Narthanasala’ is a surprise treat for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s fans this Dussera festival. The money generated from this streaming will go to charity.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna has not yet resumed the shoot of his current film directed by Boyapati Srinu. The shoot was stalled in March due to lockdown.
