Geetha Govindam grosses massive $400k

As expected, Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Geetha Govindam’ took a flying start at box-office. The film has set box-office on fire. As evident with the advance booking sales, the film took bumper openings all over AP and Telangana as well as in USA. The film collected massive numbers from USA Premieres.

The film took $400k from the premiere shows The film took $400k from the premiere shows which is on par with some of the biggest hits of Tollywood. This year only ‘Rangasthalam’, ‘Agnyaathavasi’ and ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ raked in such huge numbers from premiere shows. This is fourth highest premiere number for a Telugu film in 2018.

Despite not getting many screens in Hyderabad due to other holdover movies, ‘Geetha Govindam’ has registered solid numbers in Hyderabad multiplexes as well.

It remains to be seen how this would fare in the coming days.
