Has Virata Parvam locked deal with Netflix?

Speculations that Rana and Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Virata Parvam’ would also skip theatrical window have been doing the rounds for a long time. The film garnered attention with its promos.

The makers of ‘Virata Parvam’ had earlier denied such reports stating that the film will hit in the theaters only. But, the makers of ‘Narappa’ and ‘Maestro’ had issued the same statements but backtracked on them. It is now official that ‘Narappa’ premieres on Amazon on July 20 and ‘Maestro’ on Hotstar next month.

Given this fact, there is no reason not to believe the reports of ‘Virata Parvam’. Buzz is that the makers have already initiated talks with Netflix to close the deal.

‘Virata Parvam’ is a love story set in the 1990s of rural Telangana. Rana plays a Naxalite. Sai Pallavi is a singer who admires Rana. Directed by Venu Udugula, the film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri.

The teaser won great appreciation. It carries expectations. Sai Pallavi’s performance will stun the audiences, say the makers.
