Heroines refused to pair up with Sunil!

Back-to-back flops are one thing. But Sunil’s headache is different. None of the known heroines are liking to romance him even if the script is good.

With him going through a bad phase with disasters like ‘Krishnashtami’, ‘Eedu Gold Ehe’ and ‘Ungarala Rambabu’, N Shankar didn’t find it easy to rope in a heroine for ‘2 Countries’. At a time when critics and observers are of the view that it would be better if Sunil started doing comedy roles, some of the leading and medium-range heroines that Shankar approached actually told him a big ‘No’ to act opposite Sunil.

In fact, as Shankar said in an interview, they even told him that they would be ready to do ‘2 Countries’ if Sunil were not the hero. In fact, when asked as to why he produced the film himself, Shankar said that no producer would have been ready to invest so much in a Sunil movie. “I wanted to shoot it only in America.But any producer would have asked me to shoot it in Bangkok since Sunil is the hero,” he openly said.

This is the hard reality. Sunil has lost popularity. Heroines are not accepting to do a movie with him and producers are scared to invest on him. In ‘2 Countries’, he had acted with newcomer Manisha Raj.
