Director-turned-actor SJ Suryah portrayed a politician named Mopidevi in “Game Changer,” directed by Shankar. This is the second film with filmmaker Shankar and the first with Ram Charan. Ahead of the film’s release on January 10, he spoke with the media and asserted that post-release, discussions will center on his performance.
“The story is a fight between an altruistic collector, who prioritizes the society’s welfare, and a self-serving politician. The storyline appeared conventional, yet the scene design was unique,” Suryah said.
Suryah stated that he had four distinct looks in the film.
“Shankar sir expertly refined my characterization, mannerisms, and dialogues. I will have four different looks and getups in the film. Two are revealed in the trailer, while the remaining two should be viewed in theaters,” he stated.
He was asked if he signed this film due to Shankar’s brand name or the narrative’s appeal.
“Primarily, I refrain from committing to a film if I don’t like my character. However, regarding Shankar, I chose to sign it regardless of the story or my role. Very few directors elevated Indian cinema to new heights. Shankar is among them. Collaborating with him is a dream for any actor.” Suryah clarified.
Suryah dubbed his voice for the Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions of “Game Changer.”
