Puri Jagannadh, the popular director, has delivered several blockbusters and flops. His previous film, “Liger,” left him with a huge financial burden. The losses the film made continue to haunt him.
“Double iSmart,” directed by Puri Jaganandh and starring Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar, with Sanjay Dutt playing Bigg Bull, is slated to be released on August 15, 2024. The film is currently being heavily promoted.
However, Puri Jagannadh is also experiencing difficulties as a result of Liger”‘s past dues. Nizam’s distribution of this film has met a stumbling block. Suneil Narang of Asian Cinemas refused to distribute the film. No other distributor is ready to accept the risk, fearing that “Liger” losses will burden them.
It remains to be seen how Puri Jagannadh will handle this and get the film released without any problems.
