Jagapathi Babu who is currently playing villain roles in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages says he is happy the way his career is moving.
“I have become more popular in South India after I have turned to play villain roles. When I did movies as hero, I was mostly known in Telugu and Tamil industries but now everyone is recognizing me in entire South India,” he told us. He met the media on the eve of Mohanlal starrer “Manyam Puli” release in which he played villain’s role.
But some producers are asking me to slash down the remuneration, he rues. “Mostly producers who make small-budget movies are approaching me with many interesting roles but they are asking me to cut down the asking price,” he added.
