Actress Janhvi Kapoor celebrated her 29th birthday with a spiritual visit to the sacred Tirumala Venkateswara Temple.
Continuing her long-standing tradition, Janhvi visited Tirumala to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara on her birthday. A devout believer, she makes it a point to seek blessings at the temple almost every year on this special day.
As part of fulfilling a spiritual vow, Janhvi undertook the sacred pilgrimage from Alipiri Footpath, walking barefoot to Tirumala. The traditional footpath stretches for about 11 kilometres and includes more than 3,500 steps. She reportedly completed the trek last night and reached Tirumala early this morning.
She was accompanied by her aunt, actress Maheswari, during the pilgrimage.
Early this morning, Janhvi had a VIP break darshan at the temple. After the darshan, Vedic scholars blessed her with chants at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, while temple authorities offered her sacred teertha prasadam.
The actress is currently busy with multiple film projects but she will next be seen opposite Ram Charan in “Peddi,” which is scheduled for April 30 release.
