JJN role touched Rakul immensely

She has got a role in which she has reveled in performance says Rakul Preet. ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ will be coming to the theatres on the 11th of August. She met the media today (Aug 2) and spoke at length about the movie and her career.

Rakul speaks about the film and says that it has strong emotions. It is a love story, with action and emotional elements in it. Her role is that of a smart girl from a lovable family and one incident throws her life out of gear. 

The role is so intense that Rakul had to cry many times. Nevertheless she enjoyed playing this role, she adds. Jaya Janaki Nayaka is a film that touched her immensely, said the actress. 

It will be interesting to see Rakul in an emotional role, after seeing her as a bubbly girl in her last release Rarandoy Veduka Chuddam. 

Working with Boyapati Srinivas was just as she imagined it to be. She just followed his lead and pleased with the way her role has shaped up. Her co-star Bellamkonda Sreenivas is very sincere, Rakul says. He has worked on every aspect of this film as it is very an important film for him.

There has been lots of new competitors for Rakul. Nivetha and Sai Pallavi are the new actors on the block. Rakul said that she loved Ninnu Kori and Nivetha’s performance in it. She is yet to watch Fidaa. New talent is town is always welcome, she opined.

There have been rumours that she has been paired with Pawan Kalyan and she says that she has heard them too. If and when this happens she will be the first to announce it to the world and she too desires to work with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan.
