Kaala cleared with 14 Cuts

Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ is finally cleared by the Censor Board. The film completed censor formalities long back but the board refused to give UA certificate unless the director agrees to the suggested cuts.

After much-discussion, it has now been passed by the Board with 14 cuts. The film has been awarded UA.

‘Kaala’, directed by Pa Ranjith of ‘Kabali’ fame’, was scheduled to release on 27 April. But latest reports say the film’s release might get postponed further.

‘Kaala’ is produced by Dhanush and Lyca Productions. It stars Huma Qureshi, Eshwari Rao as the lead pair. Nana Patekar plays important role.
