As previously reported, the dystopian thriller “Kalki 2898 AD” will be split into two parts. The first installment will be available next year. According to our sources, producer Ashwini Dutt intends to announce the film’s release date as May 9, 2024.
May 9 is a special day for producer Ashwini Dutt because it marks the release of some of his biggest hits, including “Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari” and “Mahanati.” With that in mind, he wants to set this date for “Kalki” for next year.
The dystopian thriller is set in the year 2898AD and stars Prabhas as the hero who rescues people held captive by a dark force played by Kamal Haasan. Amitabh Bachchan also plays a significant role in the film.
“Kalki” is being directed by Nag Ashwin and features music by Santosh Narayanan.
