Kangana Ranaut: Flops are not the reasons for political entry

Kangana Ranaut has entered politics. She is contesting the Lok Sabha elections. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party fielded her from the Mandi parliamentary constituency.

Her decision to enter politics was well received by BJP supporters and fans. Others, however, argue that she has no choice because her films are not performing well at the box office.

Kagana Ranaut’s most recent films, both Bollywood and South Indian, have bombed at the box office. But she insisted that her decision to enter politics was not because of the poor box office performance of her recent films.

She mentioned that every big star experiences such a lull phase in their careers. She gave the example of Shah Rukh Khan, who had a string of flops before returning with blockbuster “Pathaan”.
