Kannappa’s release date announced in Ujjain temple

Vishnu Manchu’s most ambitious project, Kannappa, has set a release date. The date was made official today.

“Kannappa,” a devotional drama, will arrive in theaters on April 25, 2025.

Vishnu Manchu, along with his father Mohan Babu, actor Sarathkumar, and director Mukesh Kumar Singh, visited the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to officially announce the film’s release date. Manchu Vishnu selected the summer holiday period to allow ample time for nationwide promotions prior to the film’s release.

The movie tells the story of Lord Shiva’s greatest devotee, Kannappa—a warrior of immense bravery and an ultimate symbol of devotion. The film features a star-studded cast, including Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal in guest roles.
