Kayadu Lohar is fast emerging as one of the busiest actresses in South Indian cinema. Along with Rukmini Vasanth, she is among the few young actresses landing major projects across Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam industries.
Although her recent Telugu film “Funky” failed at the box office, it has not slowed her momentum. She is currently starring opposite Nani in “The Paradise,” one of the most-awaited Telugu pan-India films under production.
In Malayalam, Kayadu has teamed up with Dulquer Salmaan for “I’m Game.”
Her Tamil slate is equally impressive. She is already working on three Tamil films, all of which are in the final stages of production.
Adding another prestigious project to her lineup, Kayadu has now been announced as the leading lady opposite Suriya in director T. J. Gnanavel’s next film. The “Jai Bhim” director is reuniting with Suriya for the ambitious project, which is being produced by Hombale Films. The film was officially launched with a grand muhurtham ceremony at Park Hyatt in Chennai on June 29, 2026.
With six films currently in various stages of production, including projects alongside stars like Nani, Dulquer Salmaan and Suriya, Kayadu Lohar is steadily moving into the big league. The actress has quickly become one of the most sought-after young talents in South Indian cinema.
