I play a Vedic student in Nagabandham, reveals Nabha Natesh

Actress Nabha Natesh says she plays one of the strongest roles of her career in “Nagabandham,” which is set to release on July 3. Starring Virat Karrna in the lead and directed by Abhishek Nama, the fantasy adventure features Nabha as the female lead.

Speaking to the media, Nabha revealed that she plays Parvathi, a Vedic student whose decisions significantly influence the story.

Describing the role as unlike anything she has done before, she said Parvathi is a woman who stands firmly for her family and love, adding that audiences will be surprised by the character’s journey.

The actress also spoke about the film’s grand dance number choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, which features nearly 5,000 dancers. She said the song blends classical dance with devotion and was mounted on a massive scale, making it one of the most memorable experiences of her career. Nabha praised the elaborate temple set built for the sequence, saying it created the feeling of being inside the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple.

Nabha credited director Abhishek Nama for his meticulous planning, revealing that he had storyboarded every scene well in advance. She said getting ready for her character took nearly two hours every day, with special attention given to costumes and styling.

While confirming that her role has a romantic track, she stressed that the character is driven by much more than romance and plays a crucial part in the film’s major twists.

Speaking about co-star Virat Karrna, Nabha praised his dedication and hard work, saying he performed with the confidence of a much more experienced actor despite “Nagabandham” being only his second film.

Apart from “Nagabandham,” Nabha is also playing a key role in “Swayambhu.” She said she feels proud to be part of two large-scale films that are aimed at audiences across India and the world.
