CM KCR: Film shoots to resume in a phased manner

Representatives of the Telugu film industry headed by Megastar Chiranjeevi today met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to discuss various issues about the movie industry in the wake of coronavirus outbreak. CM KCR patiently heard them and reassured them to help every possible way to the movie industry. The CM also agreed to extend all the welfare schemes to the daily wage workers of the film, television, and digital media industries.

Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, Trivikram, Dil Raju, and Suresh Babu were part of this delegation. The state government would shortly announce guidelines to smooth functioning of the movie industry. The permissions for shootings and reopening of movie theaters will be sorted out.
