KGF 2 records 5 crore footfalls in India

‘KGF Chapter 2’ is still continuing to post new records. The Yash starrer has become the only Indian movie to have attracted 5 crore plus footfalls across India in the recent times.

Although Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ grossed big money, the footfalls (number of audiences who have watched the film in the theaters) was vastly low. The film ran with hiked ticket prices for many days. Hence the gross was high.

However, ‘KGF 2’ had attracted audiences in big numbers in North India as well as south India. It is the only film that had achieved this feat in the last four years.

Interestingly, ‘KGF 2’ has also become the only profitable biggie post-pandemic in Telugu states. ‘RRR’ could not bring profits to many exhibitors in Andhra Pradesh.
