Rebel Star Krishnam Raju was laid to rest with full state honours on Monday evening at the Kanakamamidi farmhouse near Moinabad (a suburb area in Hyderabad).
The veteran actor passed away at the age of 82, after suffering a cardiac arrest on Sunday.
The final journey of the actor’s mortal remains began at 1 PM from his Jubilee Hills residence. Celebrities, fans, and relatives came to pay their last respects. He was accorded full state honors by the Telangana state government. The police band played the national anthem, and police personnel fired three rounds in the air.
Prabhas’s elder brother Prabhodh performed the last rites as per their family tradition. Prabhas also was present.
