Lavanya pairs up with Nikhil

Nikhil will be romancing Lavanya Tripati in an action entertainer. The film whose title is Mudhra (confirmations awaited) is a remake of Tamil film Kanithan.

This remake version will be directed by TN Santhosh. Tagore Madhu is bankrolling the project. Initially Catherine Tresa was considered for this role. She has also acted in the original version of this film. But she seemed to be disinterested, hence the role went to Lavanya.
