Magic of Chikiri Chikiri: Ram Charan’s 45-minute trek

The song “Chikiri Chikiri” has turned into a viral sensation, amassing over 100 million views across YouTube channels. Ram Charan’s catchy hook step took social media by storm, inspiring lakhs of reels.

Now, the makers have released a behind-the-scenes video titled “Magic of Chikiri Chikiri”, showcasing the effort that went into filming the song.

Shot in the Western Ghats near Pune, the team had to trek for 45 minutes to reach a particular location. The making video reveals Ram Charan, director Buchi Babu Sana, and heroine Janhvi Kapoor climbing steep hills to shoot the sequence.

Ram Charan not only completed the strenuous trek but also performed the energetic hook step repeatedly across rehearsals and multiple takes.

Composed by AR Rahman and sung by Mohit Chauhan, “Chikiri Chikiri” is a playful number featuring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. “Peddi”, in which Ram Charan plays a sportsman, is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas and is slated for release in March 2026.
