Mahesh Babu won Best Actor Award for ‘Srimanthudu’ for the year 2015 from Andhra Pradesh government. He will be receiving Nandi Award soon. This will be his eighth Nandi award altogether including special jury awards. As Best Actor, this is his fourth Nandi.
He earlier won Best Actor for ‘Nijam’, ‘Atadu’ and ‘Dookudu’. Among his contemporary heroes, he is the only star who received such large number of Nandi’s.
