Actor Teja Sajja has firmly denied the speculation that Mahesh Babu is involved in his upcoming film “Mirai.” Addressing rumors that Lord Sriram’s character was created using AI modeled on Mahesh Babu’s features, Teja clarified that no such thing was ever considered.
Speaking about the film, Teja explained the meaning behind its title. “Mirai means ‘Hope for the Future.’ It also carries another interpretation, which will surprise audiences when they watch the movie,” he said.
He further revealed how Lord Sriram’s role fits into the narrative. “The Lord Sriram angle comes at the right time in the story and gives the audience a powerful high. There will definitely be many surprises in the film.”
On comparisons with his blockbuster “Hanu Man,” Teja pointed out the differences. “Hanu Man is set in the fantasy world of Anjanadri, whereas Mirai unfolds across multiple countries. They are completely different in terms of characters and storytelling.”
Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni and produced by People Media Factory, “Mirai” is scheduled to release on September 12, 2025. Teja Sajja plays the lead role, with Ritika Nayak starring as the heroine.
