Mahesh Babu takes a dig at Sukumar

A jibe that would make director Sukumar squirm. Mahesh Babu in his speech at ‘Maharshi’ pre-release event took a dig at Sukumar in sly way. While appreciating ‘Maharshi’ director Vamshi Paidipally, he mentioned that there are some directors who have no patience to wait for even two months.

He was obviously referring about Sukumar who recently had a major fallout with Mahesh Babu.

“I was bowled over by Vamshi Paidipally’s narration but I told him that I could not commit to his film immediately due to my pervious commitments. Vamshi replied that he would wait for me. He indeed waited for nearly two years at a time when directors moving to another star when we ask them to wait for two months,” he said.

It must be remembered that Sukumar was working for Mahesh Babu’s movie after ‘Rangasthalam’. However, Mahesh Babu was not fully satisfied with Sukumar’s script. So, Mahesh asked him to wait for couple of months so that he would decide on that. Miffed Sukumar took the same script to Allu Arjun and got nod from him.
