Mahesh Babu turns Nizam Nawab!

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Maharshi’ has crossed Rs 20 Cr mark. It has collected such whopping amount in just 6 days thanks to major revenue from multiplexes. This is third Mahesh Babu’s movie to have collected more than Rs 20 Cr in Telangana state (Nizam area). The film is expected to rake in more than Rs 25 Cr in its lifetime run.

The other two films that have crossed Rs Cr mark are – ‘Srimanthudu’ (Rs 22 Cr) and ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ (Rs 21 Cr). No wonder then that his fans have nicknamed him ‘Nizam Nawab’.

‘Maharshi’ is Mahesh Babu’s 25th movie. It has set box-office in fire in the first week. How would it fare in the second week has to be seen. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film has Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and Jayasudha in prime roles.
