Mahesh Babu and director Srikanth Addala had delivered one of the biggest hits in Tollywood with ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ in 2013. Two years later the duo is teaming up again. Their latest is titled ‘Brahmotsavam’.
On the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s father and veteran actor Krishna’s birthday, producer Prasad V Potluri launched the movie formally. The muhurtham scene was filmed at PVP Cinema’s office on May 31, 2015 at 9.27 am.
Director Srikanth Addala said the movie is about the celebration of family values. “When all family members gather together, it is nothing but an occasion of festival. That is why we titled the movie Brahmotsavam, the grand festival,” he explained the meaning behind the title. He also expressed his happiness to work with Superstar Mahesh Babu again within short gap.
Producer Prasad V Potluri said the movie will begin its regular shoot from July 19th. “We are planning to release the movie on January 8, 2015. Addala has written a beautiful script and we will provide him all the necessary budget to make it a grand film,” he added.
The film has some of the brilliant technicians of the Telugu film industry with Micky J Meyer handling the music and Rathnavelu taking up the job of director of photography. Padma Shri Thota Tarani will be doing the art work. The film will have three heroines. No heroine is finalised yet.
