Adivi Sesh starrer ‘Major’ was originally planned to hit the screens on July 2nd but the movie got postponed and halted its shoot in April due to the second wave of coronavirus.
The makers have now decided to resume the shoot in July. Adivi Sesh mentioned that they had already completed 80% of the movie’s portion. He has also penned the script.
Sashi Kiran Tikka is directing the biopic, which is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan is a hero who helped save lives during the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai in 2008.
Major’ also features Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead. Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murli Sharma will appear in pivotal roles.
The film is produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S movies.
