Makers: NBK107 is a straight film

Putting speculations to an end, the makers of ‘NBK107’ have clarified that the film is not a remake. Rumors spread fast after the makers unveiled the first look of Balakrishna from the film.

Balakrishna’s avatar bears similarities with Kannada actor Siva Rajkumar’s look from the 2017 Kannada movie ‘Mufti’. But the makers informed Telugucinema.com that the story is director Gopichand’s own. He has not sourced from any other language movie.

Gopichand Malineni and dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra have worked on the script. Malineni is currently filming key sequences.

Billed to be a mass entertainer, Shruti Haasan plays heroine opposite Balakrishna, and Kannada actor Duniya Vijay is the antagonist.

Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are producing the film on the Mythri Movie Makers banner. S Thaman provides the music, while Rishi Punjabi handles the cinematography.
