“Mass Jathara” recently hit theatres and flopped big time, becoming the fifth consecutive dud for Ravi Teja. Now, the film is set for its OTT premiere, with Netflix officially announcing its debut.
Directed by writer Bhanu Bhogavarapu in his first directorial effort, “Mass Jathara”features Ravi Teja as a Railway Police Force officer and Sreeleela as his love interest. The mass drama, filled with cringe moments, dull narration, and predictable sequences, received heavy trolling. Even Ravi Teja’s fans urged him to stop doing such mindless masala films.
Since the film was produced by Sithara Entertainments, which has a strong working relationship with streaming giant Netflix, the OTT deal was closed quite early.
As per the agreement, Netflix will premiere the movie four weeks after its theatrical release, and it will start streaming on November 28. It has already been listed under “Coming Friday.”
On the other hand, Ravi Teja is currently working on a family-oriented drama, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, directed by Kishore Tirumala, in an attempt to move away from routine mass films.
