Megastar Chiranjeevi honoured with Padma Vibhushan

Megastar Chiranjeevi received India’s second highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan, on Thursday. The ceremony was held at Rastrapathi Bhavan in New Delhi.

Chiranjeevi, dressed in a blue suit, accepted the Padma Vibhushan from President Droupadi Murmu.

His family, including his wife Surekha, son Ram Charan, daughter-in-law Upasana, and elder daughter Sushmita, were present. Following the ceremony, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan posed for photos with the Padma Vibhushan medal.

Chiranjeevi was previously honored with the Padma Bhushan.

Chiranjeevi, an actor with over four decades of experience, also served as a Union Minister in Manmohan Singh’s government. He is a veteran actor who has appeared in over 156 films.
