Mickey J. Meyer slams certain critics for their choice of words

Music director Mickey J. Meyer recently took to social media to respond to criticism of his background score for the film “HIT 3.” On Sunday, he again posted on X.com, saying he felt that some reviewers’ choice of words in criticizing his score was unfair. He further added that some reviewers had reflected poorly on themselves through their choice of words.

Mickey defended his work, stating that he often takes creative risks that may not always pay off. Still, he believes his score for “HIT 3” contributed to the film’s success.

Mickey also recalled an incident when a well-known technician criticized his music for “Happy Days” upon its release. He remarked that people with template-based expectations will always exist, but he composes music based on the director’s vision.

“Director Sailesh didn’t want an over-the-top score; it took me a while to understand his vision,” he wrote.

He concluded by saying that he survives in the industry by the grace of his Lord Jesus Christ. “You will stop hearing my music the day I decide I’m done. Until then, I try my best,” he added.

Apparently, Mickey J. Meyer is deeply upset with the reviews and criticism directed at his background score for HIT 3.
