Saif Ali Khan played the role of Lankesh aka Raavan in the Prabhas starrer “Adipurush.” The mythological-fantasy film tanked at the box office and drew heavy criticism. Online criticism of the film was equally harsh. The film’s director has not secured another directing opportunity after that.
In a recent interview, Saif Ali Khan mentioned that his son Taimur gave him a look while watching “Adipurush,” implying that it was bad.
Many fans have criticized Saif Ali Khan for disowning his own film after its failure, to which he has now responded. He stated that his son was not unhappy with the film, but him playing an evil villain was a shock. Saif said he apologized to Taimur for being the evil villain in the film.
“I stand by all my films, and this Adipurush, too,” he further clarified.
