Sree Vishnu can now breathe easy as his two upcoming films will no longer release back-to-back. Earlier, “Vishnu Vinyasam” and “Mrithyunjay” were scheduled to hit theaters within a day of each other, raising concerns about promotions and box office clash.
While “Vishnu Vinyasam” is set to release next week, “Mrithyunjay” has been postponed from February 7 to March 6, 2026. Announcing the new date, the team stated: “The date of arrival may change… but not the impact… Mrithyunjay hitting cinemas from 06.03.2026.”
Directed by Hussain Sha Kiran, the film is an investigative drama featuring Reba Monica John as a cop and Sree Vishnu’s love interest. The project is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Vinay Chilakapati.
With the revised schedule, Sree Vishnu can now promote both films effectively without overlap.
