Mrunal Thakur resumes shooting for ‘Dacoit’

Mrunal Thakur is back on the sets of “Dacoit,” the intense action-love story starring Adivi Sesh. The actress had earlier taken part in the shoot before taking a long break. She is now all set to resume work on the much-awaited film.

Originally, the project began with Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan as the lead pair. However, due to creative differences, Shruti exited the film, and Mrunal Thakur was later brought on board as her replacement.

Taking to Instagram, Mrunal shared a picture confirming her arrival in Hyderabad to rejoin the shoot. Key scenes featuring the lead pair are currently being filmed.

Dacoit marks the directorial debut of noted cinematographer Shaneil Deo and is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 25, 2025.

Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur is juggling multiple high-profile projects, including the Bollywood sequel “Son of Sardar 2” and the upcoming pan-India film with Allu Arjun directed by Atlee.
