Naatu Naatu’s Oscar win: PM and CMs congratulate the team

Since “RRR” historic win at this year’s Academy Awards, the team has been showered with accolades. Celebrities from all walks of life, including politicians, actors, and sports persons posted messages of congratulations on social media.

Everyone is raving about how MM Keeravani, Chandrabose, Rajamouli, NTR, and Ram Charan did India proud with their victory. “Naatu Naatu” took home the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

It was an “extraordinary” accomplishment, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Exceptional! The popularity of ‘Naatu Naatu’ is global. It will be a song that will be remembered for years to come. Congratulations to
@mmkeeravaani , @boselyricist and the entire team for this prestigious honour. India is elated and proud,” PM Modi writes.

K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana, tweeted his congratulations to the “RRR” cast and crew on their Oscar win. The Chief Minister expressed his desire for the Telugu film industry to carry on this trend in the future in the spirit of the Academy Award, producing more films that feature a wide range of stories and reflecting the lives of the people.

YS Jagan Mohan, chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, has spoken of his delight at bringing honour to India and the Telugu diaspora.
