Director Nag Ashwin is leaving no stone unturned to make the #Prabhas21 project into the biggest ever movie in Telugu cinema.
He is the director of ‘Mahanati’ which won national awards. Prabhas is true a Pan-Indian star and the film is produced by none other than Ashwini Dutt who produced some of the memorable blockbusters in Telugu cinema that include ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari’.
When such a combination is happening, it is natural to expect everything to be ‘big’ and on a massive scale.
This is what made Nag Ashwin approach Deepika Padukone, the Indian female superstar. Explaining why he cast Deepika Padukone, he said every king needs a queen. Prabhas is regarded as the king of the box-office. So, he wanted the queen of hearts Deepika Padukone to pair up with him.

Nag Ashwin also mentioned that he took this decision after a lot of brainstorming. “King ki saripadentha Queen kavali kada mari…chaala alochinchi teesukunna decision idi…pichekkicheddam,” he tweeted in Telugu.
#Prabhas21 is expected to begin its regular shoot early next year.
