The shooting of “Thandel” has resumed. After a month-long break, the team resumed filming in Vizag, which will last a few more days.
The film about fishermen, which has been dubbed “the most expensive film in Naga Chaitanya’s career,” has been in the works for quite some time.
“Thandel” is slated to complete its filming phase in two months.
Naga Chaitanya stars as a fisherman, with Sai Pallavi as his love interest. A portion of the plot is set in Pakistan, and massive sets depicting the Pakistan topography were erected at BHEL near Hyderabad.
The film’s plot is set in Uttarandhra. Naga Chaitanya speaks in the Uttarandhra dialect throughout the film. “Thandel” is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and will be released on December 20, 2024.
