Nagarjuna says he is proud of his Naga Chaitanya

Naga Chaitanya went through a rough phase professionally in the last couple of years. Several of his recent movies, like “Thank You,” “Laal Singh Chaddha,” and “Custody,” tanked at the box office. In an attempt to recover, he exerted significant effort and starred in “Thandel.”

So Akkineni Nagarjuna took to social media to shower praise on his son and congratulate the team on the success. The veteran actor expressed his pride in his son for having the courage to dream big.

“Proud of you my son…I have watched you push boundaries, face challenges, and give your heart to the craft. Thandel is not just another film—it is a testament to your relentless passion, your courage to dream big, and your hard work.

Released on February 7, 2025, “Thandel” achieved the highest opening day collection for Chaitanya’s career worldwide. The team visited the Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada for blessings and engaged with audiences at various theaters across the Telugu states.
