Nagarjuna thanks Delhi Court for safeguarding personality rights

Akkineni Nagarjuna has expressed gratitude to the Delhi High Court for upholding his personality rights. The actor had approached the court after raising concerns over the unauthorized use of his name and image in content circulated on social media.

During the hearing, Justice Tejas Karia observed that once specific URLs are identified, an order can be passed to take down such content.

Nagarjuna’s lawyers argued that the actor’s strong reputation is now under threat due to unauthorized content, including AI-generated and morphed images of him, being circulated on YouTube and other platforms.

Following the court’s stance, Nagarjuna took to social media to share his appreciation. He wrote, “Grateful to the Hon’ble Delhi High Court for protecting my personality rights in today’s digital age.”

Interestingly, just recently, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also secured a favorable order from the court in a similar case.
