‘’Aay’ is a word commonly used by Telugu people from the Godavari districts to indicate agreement or approval. Curiously, this word is now the title of a new movie featuring Narne Nithiin. The film is the ninth production by GA 2 Pictures.
Narne Nithiin and Nayan Sarika are the main lead. Directed by a first-timer Anji Kanchipalli and Bunny Vas and Vidya Koppineedi are bankrolling the project, its shooting has concluded.
Meanwhile, the promotional effort began with a humorous title announcement. A phone conversation between producer Bunny Vas, actor Narne Nithiin, actress Nayan Sarika, and director Anji Kanchipalli reveals the title of the movie.
The call commences with the producer urging the director to disclose the movie’s title. Feeling frustrated by the director’s frequent “AAY” replies, the producer includes the hero and heroine in the discussion. The team finds the situation humorous as they misinterpret “AAY” as a common reply from the people of Godavari.
The movie’s initial glimpse will debut on March 7th.
