Naveen Polishetty has reportedly increased his remuneration once again, three years after his last major hike. What’s surprising is that the actor has released only one film during this entire period.
Despite facing criticism for frequent changes during production—including director swaps, multiple script rewrites, reshoots, and even changes in the female lead—Naveen managed to deliver a hit with “Anaganga Oka Raju.” While the much-publicised Rs 100 crore collection poster released by the makers is said to be exaggerated, the film’s success at the box office is undeniable.
However, industry buzz suggests that producers continue to face challenges due to extended schedules, delays, and additional costs arising from the actor’s demands. Adding to this, Naveen is now reportedly seeking a significant hike in his fee.
Sources claim that Naveen Polishetty is quoting close to Rs 15 crore per film, nearly double his previous remuneration, and is willing to sign new projects only if producers meet this demand.
