The shooting of Balakrishna’s current film, which is tentatively referred to as NBK106, will resume its second schedule once the lockdown is lifted. Director Boyapati in a recent interview said that the film will have a new female lead opposite Balakrishna.
Mumbai based actress has been finalized but Boyapati said he will announce her name once the second schedule resumes. He first wants to wrap up the portions involving Balakrishna’s ‘Aghora’ getup. Balakrishna will appear as aghora of Varanasi in a key episode in the film. This portion needs to be wrapped up either in Varanasi or in a Hyderabad studio.
The film is being produced by Miriyala Ravinder Reddy with an estimated budget of Rs 50 crore. Thaman is scoring the music.
