Nidhhi Agerwal clarifies on using AP Govt vehicle

Nidhhi Agerwal, currently busy shooting for “The Raja Saab,” found herself in the middle of a controversy after a video showed her travelling in a Toyota Innova Crysta bearing an Andhra Pradesh government number plate. The clip, from her recent visit to the state, quickly went viral, prompting questions on social media about why a government vehicle was being used by an actress.

Responding to the buzz, Nidhhi issued a clarification on Twitter (X), stating that the matter was “wrongly interpreted.” She explained that the video was from her recent trip to Bhimavaram for a store inauguration, and the vehicle was arranged by the event organizers.

She emphasized that she had no role in selecting the car and that the Andhra Pradesh government did not provide it.

“I would like to address and clarify certain speculations circulating on social media regarding my recent visit to Bhimavaram for a store launch event.

During the event, the local organisers arranged transportation for me, which happened to be a vehicle belonging to the Andhra Pradesh government. I wish to clearly state that I had no role in choosing or requesting this vehicle – it was provided solely by the event organisers for logistical purposes.

Some online reports and posts are wrongly suggesting that this vehicle was sent to me by government officials. I want to make it absolutely clear that these claims are completely baseless. I share no such connection in this context, and the use of the vehicle had nothing to do with any government officials.
