Nivetha confirms she's playing Rajinikanth's daughter

Nivetha Thomas of ‘Ninnu Kori’ and ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ fame has confirmed the reports that she indeed is playing Rajinikanth’s daughter role in ‘Darbar’. The film has Nayanthara as Rajinikanth’s love interest. Nivetha is one of the leading actresses in Telugu. It is surprising to see that she has agreed to play a daughter’s role in a big hero movie.

“And now for the world to know! There is and will only be ONE Aditya Arunachalam. And he is my appa,” she tweeted declaring that Rajinikanth is her father in ‘Darbar’.

The film’s shoot has almost come to an end. Rajinikanth has finished his portion of the shoot. ‘Darbar’ is directed by AR Murugadoss. Set for Sankranthi 2020 release, ‘Darbar’ has Rajinikanth playing the role of a cop named Aditya Arunachalam.
