No change in Rajini's 2.0 release date

Shankar’s 2.0 starring superstar Rajinikanth is one of the much awaited films this season. There have been rumours that the film’s release has been postponed. The makers have announced that this science fiction thriller will be released on the 25th of January, 2018.

But suddenly some rumours surfaced that this won’t be happening. Lyca Productions is producing this film. Raju Mahalingam from Lyca Productions has said that there is no postponement in the release of the film. He said, “Don’t believe rumours #2.O as per schedule on January 25 2018.” The team is working to make the film release on the said date.

2.0 has Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar playing the antagonist role. Amy Jackson is the leading lady. Music has been given by A R Rahman.
