‘NTR Mahanayakudu’, the second part of NTR Biopic, hit the screens yesterday in good number of screens, but the film has registered the lowest ever first day collection for a Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer. Early estimates say, the movie has collected mere Rs 1.5 Cr (approximate) on day one in Telugu states, which is too low for a Balakrishna movie.
This has collected on par with Ram Gopal Varma and Nagarjuna’s all-time dud ‘Officer’.
The film took in Rs 14 lakhs from Uttarandhra on Day 1 and Krishna has raked in around Rs 12 lakhs. Guntur has received about Rs 19 lakhs worth share. Nizam has posted Rs 30 lakhs. All in all, the movie has raked in lowest ever opening for a such biggie.
As we all know, the first part was also disaster but the film raked in nearly Rs 8 Cr opening on day one. ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’ is directed by Krish and produced by Nandamuri Balakrishna.
