NTR in two parts: Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu

As expected, NTR Biopic has been split into two parts. The first part is titled Kathanayakudu and the final portion is titled Mahanayakudu. Both films will carry NTR name in its title. 
 
What is interesting is not splitting in two parts, but releasing them in shortest gap. While the first part titled NTR Kathanayakudu will release on Jan 09, 2019, two weeks later the second part titled ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’ will hit the screens. Two films are releasing in just a gap of two weeks. Releasing them in short gap is to avoid election code as Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls are scheduled to happen in April and poll code will come before two months.
 
Also, this biopic is seen as political propaganda by Telugu Desam party. So, the two parts strategy will serve the purpose.
 
Nandamuri Balakrishna is essaying his father NTR’s role in this biopic. The first part will largely focus on NTR’s movie career and life in general and his oath as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The second part will focus on the later political life of NT Ramarao that has many contentious issues to deal with.
